WEST OF EDEN
West of Eden was formed in 1995. Their repertoire mainly consists of original songs influenced by Irish and Scottish folk music. Characteristic elements of their sound include fiddle, accordion, and whistles (Irish flutes). Initially more pop-oriented, they are now classified within the folk rock genre. In addition to Sweden, they have toured in Ireland as well as in Belgium, the Netherlands, and China. The group’s vocalists and primary songwriters are the couple Jenny and Martin Schaub.
