Division 7 - Hundhuvudet

Facts The whole idea behind Division 7's work is to spark the kind of rush that only an overwhelming live show can otherwise deliver: emotional euphoria, fists in the air, a sense of community, and a place where the music is as much play as it is deadly serious. This is the guiding star as Division 7 returns with the album Hundhuvudet on March 22, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed debut Paradis Garage from 2023.

Hundhuvudet is about coming to understand the need for personal change to keep relationships alive, and just as much about the inability to make it happen. It is the ugly urge to drift away and fall in love with a deceptive, romanticized self-image, only to fall back abruptly and unpleasantly into the contemptuous sneering at one's own reflection. It is a self-loathing one tells oneself is healthy and character-building, but it is also the spring-sunlight shimmer of the high of finding someone exactly like yourself.

The theme of Hundhuvudet thus reaches into both the peaks and valleys of life, and Division 7 approaches it the way they do best: in a difficult, gripping form.
