Millie Jackson - Soul For The Dancefloor

Facts 2008 compilation from the Soul diva, the definitive collection of her modern Soul dance tracks all together in one handy pick-up-and-play CD. The tracks were penned by Bobby Womack, Benny Latimore, George Jackson, Don Covay and Ashford & Simpson among others. There's not a single filler or duff track in sight. 'You Can't Stand the Thought', 'Ask Me What You Want' and 'Don't Send Nobody Else' have always been firm favorites. 'You Can't Turn Me Off' and 'If That Don't Turn You On' are heading that way, while 'House for Sale' and 'My Man Is a Sweet Man' have been Northern Soul monsters for years. Millie's first 45, the MGM-released stomper 'My Heart Took a Licking' is on Kent for the first time. Kent.
