CORTEX - 1987 THE LOST TAPES
The year was 1987 and the alternative record company Radium 226.05 booked time in Studio Lane for new recordings with Cortex. The foundation of a full-length album was recorded but after conflicts within the band, the recording ended and the Cortex was dissolved. A 16-channel band went to Radium and another 16-channel band and a demo-mix remained in the studio. Studio Lane later became a major water leak and the material was completely destroyed. The band at Radium has remained in a box for 31 years and waited.
