Taj Mahal - And The Hula Blues (180 G)

Facts 2014 vinyl pressing release of Taj Mahal's first Hawaiian album recorded in 1997. It pays homage to Hawaiian culture and celebrates intercultural connectivity. The album is an easygoing and charmingly profound acknowledgement of his status as America's foremost practitioner of blues/world/roots fusions. "A cultural blend of joy, love and harmony" was how he summed up these historic recording sessions. Includes updated liner notes. Cadiz.
