staf - Alla Änglar Är Döda (Black Vinyl LP)

Facts Staf from Partille have quickly made a name for themselves on the Swedish live music scene. They soon became a symbol of new, young, alternative music. "Alla änglar är döda" is Staf's second studio album, recorded at Kungsten Studios by Henrik Scheer (Klotter) over two weekends between 2024 and 2025. With a darker, more melodic and atmospheric sound than the band's debut album "Stäng truten borgarunge", Staf has evolved from a three-chord punk band into something bigger and deeper.

Time passes, and the world changes with it, and so does Staf. Ever since the debut, the band has been developing ideas about doing something different from what came before, both from the band itself and in Sweden: something that didn't sound like Staf, and something that could define them as a band. Shaped by heartbreak, politics and a constant sense of unease, the 10 songs on "Alla änglar är döda" were created.

Singer and guitarist Sebastian Staf says himself: "Alla änglar är döda is the boldest thing we've done as a band, taking what previously defined us sonically and making it different. It reflects how we as a band constantly try to move forward and not get stuck in a cycle of repetition. We felt we wanted so much more musically, and that 2 minutes and three chords weren't enough to express everything we wanted to say, or how we wanted to say it."
