Facts Prog rockers Soft Machine are celebrated in this five-record boxset which does pretty much what it says: 'Live In 1970' captures the band in the height of their ascension, bursting into their jazzier sounds, while creating ornate and complex jams full of flute, harmonica and saxophone - this instrumentation comes courtesy of travelling member Lyn Dobson.
