Silverkulten - På Kollisionskurs Med Samtiden

Facts På Kollisionskurs Med Samtiden is Silverkulten's third full-length album, released September 20, 2024 via Septembernatt. The album was never meant to follow a theme or concept, but it came to be largely about dissatisfaction with a repetitive existence and various ways of escaping it.

In and between the songs, the band shuttles back and forth between Malmö and Gothenburg, just as its members did during the years the record was made. This has resulted in unstable moods and unhealthy habits, which recur throughout the album.

The debut single “Vi kommer att slitas itu” was released in April 2018 and caught the attention of Per Sinding Larsen, who described the band on SVT's culture news as having "found a voice and frame of its own." The debut album was named one of the year's best Swedish debuts by HYMN and was nominated for "Årets Uppstickare" at the GAFFA Awards.
