Sandy Denny - 5 Classic Albums

Facts We file her under folk-rock, but Sandy was a soul-stirring songstress of the highest order no matter what she was singing, be it her own beguiling songs or her transfixing twists on ones penned by Richard Thompson, Bob Dylan, Richard Fariña and more. Together with her Fairport Convention LPs, these 1971-77 recordings built her legend: "The North Star Grassman and the Ravens," "Sandy," "Like an Old Fashioned Waltz," "Rendezvous" and "Gold Dust: Live at the Royalty (The Final Concert)." She haunts with "Blackwaterside," "I Wish I Was a Fool for You," "Gold Dust," "Who Knows Where the Time Goes?," "The Quiet Joys of Brotherhood," "At the End of the Day," "Full Moon" and more.
