Romane - Soir de Trottoir (CD)

Facts Romane is a leading light among Django Reinhardt's heirs, and so he has his rightful place among the greatest guitarists in French jazz. He was awarded Sacem's Grand Prize in 2013 - his compositions have become genuine standards - and on this album he revisits his repertoire with a jazz trio, giving these tunes a brand new color. You can listen to this album as if you were in a cinema, watching a film filled with poetry and a soft nostalgia.
