Sam Price - Rockin' The Joint

Facts At last Sam Price's two classic r&b LPs from the 50s make a welcome return to the CD format. The original LP release of Rock My Soul features the saxophone of the legendary King Curtis and the guitar of Mickey Baker, who was then without doubt the most prolific session guitarist in New York. The LP became a major collectors' item throughout the blues revival during the 1960s. Simply put this is 25 tracks of rockin' rhythm and blues and is a must have for fans of blues, r&b and Rock and roll alike. Fully detailed liner notes.
