Paul Anka - Lonely Boy: Greatest Singles 1957-6

Facts Vinyl LP pressing. Paul Anka was one of the very first artists to make an impact as a polished smooth teen idol in the midst of the musical mayhem that the likes of Elvis Presley, Bill Haley and Little Richard were wreaking in the pop charts. There's no denying that as a precocious 15-year-old singing a song of classic teen angst which launched his career with a landmark worldwide No.1, he exemplified the new image. This collection focuses completely on that frenetic first few years of his career, presenting his best selling single releases during that era including all his top 20 hits from both sides of the Atlantic and traces the development of his songwriting and musical mold along the way. Naturally it features his huge hits from his debut Diana, through Lonely Boy, Puppy Love, Summer's Gone, to his final hit in this era Eso Beso (That Kiss!).Vin
