Hideo Gosha directs this Japanese drama based on the novel by Taijiro Tamura. In the aftermath of WWII, a group of prostitutes including Maya (Rino Katase) live in a ruined building which also houses an undetonated bomb. By sharing their income, they hope to purchase a dance hall they will call Paradise which they intend to run themselves but with the odds against them, can they realise their dream? The cast also includes Tsunehiko Watase, Yûko Natori and Jinpachi Nezu.
