Maljean Jean-Francois - Gallery

Facts &Belgian pianist Jean-Francois Maljean grew up studying classical piano. After attending musical conservatories and schools around the world he set out as a back up player in various bands. He later formed his own band and then eventually went solo. His sound incorporated new age and jazz qualities with a pop sensibility and European flavor. In recent years, he has worked in Japan and has incorporated the traditional sounds into his style. This incorporation naturally led to him playing the music of Kitaro, which his soothing style suited perfectly.
