Lions Share - Dark Hours (Vinyl Lp)

Facts Dark Hours was Lion's Share's sixth album and, as the title suggests, perhaps their heaviest so far. Nils Patrick Johansson (Astral Doors, Civil War) again handles vocals on this album. The band deliberately aimed for a menacing and raw tone, unleashing a veritable heavy metal storm. Dark Hours was a pleasant surprise, as many bands often lose their edge over the years. Here it's quite the opposite: through dark undertones, an energy is released that shows the band continues to forge its own path within modern power metal, with melodic passages. One listen to the album is enough to appreciate what these seasoned musicians have to offer, especially if you enjoy classic heavy metal qualities: dark, melodic, gripping and menacing. Dark Hours still stands today as one of Lion's Share's strongest albums. Vinyl LP.
