Kingsley Flood - Another Other

Facts At the heart of Another Other, the new album from Kingsley Flood, the rollicking, literate, five-piece rock and roll band fronted by Naseem Khuri, lies a paradox that sets the stage for a brilliant and thought-provoking musical exploration of identity and race and class in a modern American society still sharply divided along those lines. Produced by Paul Kolderie (Radiohead, Pixies, Portugal. The Man), Another Other is the band's finest work to date, blending the band's "signature high energy" (Rolling Stone) with songwriting "soaked with raw emotion" (Stereogum). Shifting effortlessly between the political and the personal, the album examines privilege, responsibility, activism, and our capacity for change, with deft musicianship and subtle scene-setting.
