Journey - Across the Airwaves (CD)

Facts Recorded at Rainbow Music Hall in Denver on May 9, 1979 and broadcast on European radio networks, this performance captures Journey during the Evolution tour as they solidified their transition into one of America's leading arena rock bands. Featuring the classic lineup with Steve Perry, Neal Schon, and Gregg Rolie, the set draws from Infinity and Evolution, including "Wheel in the Sky, " "Lights, " and "Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin', " alongside deeper cuts that highlight the band's mix of melody and musicianship at a moment when their audience was rapidly growing both in the U.S. and internationally.
