Henning Sernhede - Cowboy Från Rymden

Facts
Henning has been called Masthugget's Mark Knopfler, but he also has a style so natural that, according to DN, he must have been born with it. As a guitarist, he has toured with, among others, Tomas Andersson Wij, Lill-Babs, Daniel Gilbert and Sofia Karlsson.
Under his own name, he makes guitar-based soft rock in Swedish that has found wide appeal among listeners who enjoy both down-to-earth everyday observations and a guitar solo that takes them to another universe, far, far away.

I dig where I stand and wander mostly with the same questions I had as a child. The question marks I thought would be straightened out in adult life still remain. I'm not trying to explain the state of things or offer any solutions.
I try to do what I think I'm best at. The strongest experiences I've had have been impossible to put into words. I hear myself babbling, searching for words that don't exist. I easily end up sitting silently on the side. That's where the guitar and the music take over.

After experimenting with drum machines, synths and bedroom recording on the last few albums, Henning is now back where it all began, quite literally.
The lyrics are locally rooted, with pins stuck in a map of the town where he grew up, and the album was recorded in his own studio in Sandarna, Gothenburg.
It is also a return to where everything began, since the album is for the most part recorded live in one room.
Back to what first made me want to pick up the guitar: standing together in a room and trying to make time stand still, knowing that it can't be changed and polished afterward," Henning describes the process.
