Grovjobb - Nallebjörn Är Död (Red Vinyl LP)

Facts The legendary Swedish group Grovjobb returns once again to the existing worlds! After more than 20 years of silence, the band made their first appearance as "resurrected" at Psykstämman, a psychedelic music festival located on an island off Gothenburg, in the summer of 2023. There they met an utterly enthusiastic audience of old fans and new music lovers alike, the magic spark was ignited, and it burned again at full strength. Wave the magic wand eight times, heading toward Saturn, and suddenly, abracadabra, a brand-new LP by Grovjobb is ready to land at your local record shop, titled Nallebjörn är död. The excitement is at its peak, and the fairies invite you to another party once more.

Grovjobb, one of the most magically shimmering instrumental groups from the Swedish underground progressive scene of the 1990s, quickly built a reputation as a vibrant live band. The group also released three critically acclaimed albums (on Garageland Records), all of which are now sought-after collector's items. In addition, they received appreciative reviews in the leading psychedelic publications of the time, such as Ptolemaic Terrascope and Crohinga Well.
The new Grovjobb picks up where the old Grovjobb paused. The sun still shines beneath the sun, and the peculiar magic continues, echoing far across the dark moss meadows, where the troll mother smiles and blesses.

The heart and mind behind Grovjobb is the enchanting guitarist Jerry Johansson, also a sitar master and composer. Much of his music is thus filtered through Indian-tinged glasses, with light clouds of Swedish folk music drifting freely in the middle. The unicorns dance, the shadows thicken, and all the trees of the forest call out. Illuminated songs, intricate arrangements, and pulsing, constantly shifting timbres mean this comeback must not be missed in any way!
