George Barbara - I Know

Facts Nationally, her hit streak only lasted for 10 months. But in the Crescent City, Barbara was an institution, up there with Fats Domino, Lee Dorsey, Aaron Neville and Ernie K. Doe. She was instrumental in the success of the A.F.O. label, and it's her cuts for A.F.O. and for the Sue label that account for these 18 tracks. The story of this great singer is told in the notes that join her hits "You Talk About Love," "Send for Me (if You Need Some Lovin')" and her smash "I Know (You Don't Love Me No More)" plus "Try Again," "If You Think," "Bless You," "I Never Knew" and more!
