Bear Garden

Swedish Saxophonist Bear Garden's (Martin Wirén) music moves like a chameleon between a progressive expression, jazz and a modern, pop sound. This autumn, the single ''Up'' was chosen as ''Beat of the week'' on BBC 6 Music and was played several times on BBC Radio - a natural consequence of an intense year for the artist with a European tour and gigs in Sweden at, among others, Trädgården, Debaser and with Teodor Wolgers on Way Out West. In parallel with the international scene starting to pay more and more attention to Bear Garden, he has been noticed at home by Jan Gradvall in DI and played in Swedish radios P3's more eclectic mixes.  New album ''Up'' out on Bolero Recordings February 23, 2024.
