Det Blev Handgemäng - La-La-Lavett (Black Vinyl LP)

Facts Everyone knows who Det Blev Handgemäng are. Drive out into the forest between Osby and Älmhult and they've been there playing. Head up to Kinnekulle and you'll find a dance hall where Det Blev Handgemäng have spat and snarled out songs all night long. Stop a car between Falun and Gävle and you'll hear about a concert memory. Or stroll inside the customs gates in the capital itself and the talk will be buzzing about the latest gig.

Det Blev Handgemäng carry two sorrows. First, Elin's Volvo 740, Balthazaar, has gone to the grave. He was Handgemäng's fifth member and carried the band across the land, spreading their gospel of solidarity. Second, the right-wing winds are colder than ever. It's Åkesson and Kristersson. Trump, Putin, Nettan-Mjau and the devil and his damn aunt.

But shame on whoever gives up, right!? Det Blev Handgemäng have a new car, new songs and a new album packed with spaghetti-western-dripping, blues-baked country prog, arriving this election year. They're ready. One fist is raised and clenched. On the other fist, the middle finger is pointed straight at the right.

Since the success of their debut album Bugalú from 2015 (sold out everywhere), the band has become eleven years groovier! The music is still deeply rooted in American folk tradition, which reviewers have described as "authentic enough to hold up."

Watch out, we're just saying. The Election Year Tour 2026 is here!
