Facts (2-CD set) When they talk about cool jazz, they don't come much cooler than Miles Dewey Davis III. This addition to the cool jazz titles in the Essential Collection range features Miles from 1953-1955. This was a period of transition for the trumpeter and leader, which would culminate in his late 50's masterpiece Kind Of Blue. Here he works with such legendary names as Charles Mingus, John Lewis, Max Roach, Percy Heath, Art Blakey, Horace Silver, Elvin Jones and Thelonious Monk.
