City Saints - Explosiv! (Splatter Yellow W/ Blue)

Facts Swedish punk rockers City Saints' studio album Explosiv! The band's sixth album since forming in Gothenburg in 2012. The album works as a tribute to the band's hometown of Gothenburg, both in the lyrics and in the musical influence from the Gothenburg punk scene of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Explosivt! kicks off with a surprise in the Ennio Morricone-inspired “Göta Älv.” The atmospheric number paves the way for a series of high-tempo anthems and gritty rock 'n' roll. Produced by Chips Kiesbye, known for his work with The Hellacopters and Michael Monroe. The result is a naturally sounding record, reminiscent of the stripped-down productions from punk rock's golden age. Explosiv! Splatter Yellow w/ Blue & White Vinyl LP.
