Chet Baker - Chet Baker With Russ Freeman

Facts EU-only 180 gm vinyl LP pressing including eight bonus tracks, deluxe inner sleeve and digital download. Chet Baker's trumpet work with the Gerry Mulligan Quartet and with this his own quartet had firmly established him as "the" new trumpet stylist in jazz. Pianist-composer Russ Freeman deserves much credit for the success of this album. His original compositions, and keen understanding of Chet's capabilities, provide a sparkling framework for Chet's inventive horn. Carson Smith, bass, and Larry Bunker, drums, complete the rhythm section.
