Ten years after the release of his acclaimed debut album Lines, Charlie Cunningham returns to the record that introduced him to audiences around the world.

The anniversary campaign begins with 'An Opening (With Strings)', a newly recorded interpretation captured at London's legendary RAK Studios. Reimagined with an intimate string arrangement by Amy Langley, and performed with The Night Orchestra, the new version offers a fresh perspective on one of the album's defining songs while preserving the quiet intensity that made Lines a modern classic.

Since its release, Lines has amassed more than 400 million streams on Spotify alone, becoming one of the most enduring contemporary folk records of the past decade.

Reflecting on the project, Charlie says: “It marked the end of a certain period of my life and sent me on my way to everything that followed. It’s cathartic to breathe fresh life into these songs a decade later."

January 27th Lines (10th Anniversary Edition) will be release on vinyl incl the full original album plus 2 songs with string arrangements on colored vinyl.
