Bob Catley - Whispers & Tales

Facts After working with Tens' Gary Hughes on his first three solo albums, and with his Hard Rain bandmate Paul Hodson on his fourth, when it came to Spirit of Man, Bob's fifth album, the Magnum vocalist worked with the guys from Lost Weekend, together with Vince O'Regan (Escape, Legion, Pulse), who had been Bob's touring guitarist on many of his solo gigs. Vince and Bob also played acoustic shows, and during this productive period the duo retreated to Vince's studio and recorded acoustic versions of songs covering Bob's entire solo career. The result is 11 tracks that highlight the beloved velvety tones of Catley's voice and the melodic clarity of O'Regan's delicate fingerpicking. No Magnum songs, but this is purely an album of Bob Catley's wonderful and highly successful solo career. Artwork by the award-winning ar
