Donny Benet - Il Basso

Facts Vinyl LP pressing. After the success and deep satisfaction achieved with Le Piano, Donny Benét returns to the instrumental fold with the next album in the series: il Basso. This album pays tribute to the instrument that is, at any given time, the foundation, the glue, and the shining star of music... we're talking about The Bass. A man of taste, Don revisits some of his all-time favorite bassists who have inspired and shaped his musical journey, including Paul Jackson, Bernard Edwards, Freddie Washington, Leon Sylvers, Stanley Clarke, Eberhard Weber, and Mr. Pastorius. Paying homage to these great musicians, il Basso indulges Don's guilty pleasures and his undeniable love for the bass.
