Arthur Smith And His Cracker-Jacks - Fingers On Fire… And More

Facts The original 'Guitar Boogie' man, Arthur Smith has been a staple of the Jasmine catalogue for decades, with three previous best selling CDs to his credit. All three of those have long since sold out, and demand for them is still high - but rather than simply re-press what's gone before, this month sees a new, remastered collection of Arthur's classic Superdisc and MGM recordings to replace those that precede it. n'Fingers On Fire' brings together Arthur's three original 1950s albums, as originally released on vinyl - plus the bonus of his first EP - in their order of release. All of his best known pieces are featured herein, making this a 'Best Of' package into the bargain. As well as showcasing his guitar prowess, several of Arthur's best known vocal tunes are included on what is a 'must have' collection for all fans of vintage hillbilly music. Based on previous sales evidence, Jasmine is sure that this handsomely illustrated, comprehensively annotated collection will be a strong seller and a much-loved item for all who choose to buy it.
