And Oceans - Regeneration Itinerary The (Black Vinyl LP)

Facts Limited vinyl LP pressing housed in gatefold jacket. 2025 release. In the frozen depths of Finland's iciest lakes,... and Oceans emerged, fusing symphonic black metal with avant-garde twists and splashes of industrial chaos. For decades, they've been the torchbearers of a genre that defies boundaries-constantly reinventing their sound with each new album. Their latest full-length, "The Regeneration Itinerary," is a transcendent expedition into the duality of light and dark. Recorded in the halls of SoundSpiral Audio and mixed to perfection at Necromorbus Studio, this album weaves a tale as old as time yet refreshingly modern. With tracks like the ethereal, techno-laden "Inertiae" and the haunting "Förnyelse i Tre Akter," Mathias Lillmåns' lyrical prowess unfurls across Timo Kontio's and Antti Simonen's masterful compositions, each note dripping with existential ponderings and razor-sharp riffs. Imagine being embraced by a Siberian storm while contemplating the cosmos-that's the electrifying impact these songs deliver. A standout, "Prophetical Mercury Implement," offers a fervent glimpse into their musicianship, promising an aural journey that's as profound as it is raw. From the melodic "I am Coin, I am Two" to the relentless drive of "The Fire in Which We Burn," this itinerary navigates the delicate balance where shadows kiss the dawn.
