Facts Lutt Prize–nominated 1991 is a loud Bergen-based band with roots in Sunnfjord, confidently navigating the landscape between pop rock, alt-rock, and grunge. The band, which received its own shoutout from Kaizers Orchestra during their Bandboost in 2025, is clearly inspired by giants such as Oasis, Weezer, The Smashing Pumpkins, Dum Dum Boys, and Pixies — yet they remain confident and original within their own sonic identity. They combine nonchalant rock with soaring guitars and honest, melancholic lyrics. Despite still being relatively underground, the group has quickly earned several songs in rotation on P3 and P13, received coverage in Stjernepose and Winsents, and been frequently recommended by Urørt.
