Rane and Kris first met at a house party in Fräntorp. Casual small talk quickly turned to music: Rane worked as a piano tuner and studio engineer, Kris as a drum builder and also a studio engineer. It didn’t take long before they realized a shared love for Kraftwerk, The Zombies, SBTRKT — basically anything with distortion and off-kilter harmonies.

Many beers later, the music talk shifted to childhood memories, revealing even more in common. Both grew up far from the standard Swedish “Svensson” lifestyle: Rane on a pig farm, Kris in a group home for people with disabilities.
