Anette Wallin Trio - Över Ängarna

"Över ängarna" is the debut album from the Anette Wallin Trio – a vibrant tribute to the folk music tradition of Halland and to personal expression. Here, songs and tunes that Anette has carried with her since childhood meet her own newly composed music.

Anette Wallin, a Riksspelman (a Swedish title of honor for distinguished folk musicians), sings and plays the fiddle and recorder with a natural presence and a deep connection to the Halland landscape. Together with Riksspelman Pers Nils Toft on clarinet and diatonic accordion, and Oskar Reuter on cittern and guitar, the trio creates an interplay that is sensitive, heartfelt, and playful.
