"Tonally the mood is visceral angst, and passionate reclaiming of ones vulnerability and resilience. This represents a new beginning and is the entry point for my rebirth and becoming something more ethereal and powerful. The first single "King" was inspired by the sexism and disenfranchisement that I have faced as a woman in the world of music. Growing up I wanted to be able to live in the otherworldly orbit that my heroes existed in and I feel that having lived my life and going through the ups and downs of a life in rock and roll I could write an anthem for all of those who have faced similar strife and disparity.
